Burger..CAKE!

What the best thing to have after a big juice cheesy burger??

A BURGER CAKE! =D

It was my friend's birthday, and she -just like me - looooves burgers. So yours truly decided to take up the challenge and make her a burger cake. 

It was surprisingly easier and much more fun that I thought it would be. 

Ok, let's go back to the point.
I made two types of cakes: Yellow and Chocolate Cake.

It was really hard to find a 'bun' shaped baking pan. Mom helped me improvise :P but it turned out good in the end.


Then the fun part, I got out some red, orange and green fondant. I cut the red ones into sliced tomatoes.  I made cheese out of the orange fondant and luckily  the green fondant was cut up randomly so it looked exactly like lettuce!!

Then I tinted some vanilla frosting yellow and red in order to make the condiments.

It was then easy to assemble.
Bun.
'Mayonnaise'
Lettuce
Meat
Cheese
Tomatoes
'Ketchup & Mustard'
Bun

Oh and Happy Birthday Christine!!!!!!!! We went to Classic Burger Joint in the new Zaituna Bay. Amazing place! It's my favorite burger joint in Beirut. They have the most awesome mushroom n swiss burger ever!!
