Sugar Cookies are great for a lot of occasions, whether you want Holiday cookies or just a simple sweet cookie, they're pretty amazing.

Here's how i do mine:

What you need:
  • 3 cups all purpose flour
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 1 3/4 cups granulated sugar
  • 2 eggs, room temperature
  • 1 tsp vanilla essence
  • 1/4 tsp salt

What Tools you need:
  • Mixer
  • Rolling Pin
  • Baking Sheets
  • Plastic Wrap
What to do:
  1. Preheat your oven at 200 degrees C.
  2. Cream together the butter and sugar.
  3. Add the eggs and vanilla and beat well.
  4. Sift all your dry ingredients and add them to the butter/sugar mixture.
  5. Mix well, till your dough sticks together. (Be careful your dough isn't too wet/too dry)
  6. Wrap your dough in a plastic wrap and refrigerate for a minimum of 30 minutes.

7.  Cut your dough into 2 pieces. Place one piece back in the refrigerator.

8. Place the other piece between two sheets of baking paper and roll using the rolling pin. That's how I do it, it saves time, and does not stick to my work surface.

9. Cut the dough using cookie cutters of your choice.
